FAMILY GROUPS
You can join as an individual or family. The emphasis is on the practical and social needs of the parish community.

On a pleasant Saturday night in September 2011 (before the Rugby World Cup started), the Grace Family Group from the Parish gathered together in the Pettit Centre for their usual monthly gathering. At 6:00 pm each family arrived with their own fish and chips - 25 adults and 11 children. We welcomed two new families to the group and it was a great catch up time for the already established members.

At around 7:00 pm we spent about 15 minutes in prayer reflection. We were blessed to have Amber Rainey arrive with her parents, so our singing was accompanied by this wonderful pianist straight from the Guild Hall School of Music in London. We based our prayer around giving thanks.
Each family brought a dessert which was shared and enjoyed.

Lots of friendly banter and chatter took place over cups of tea. The children enjoyed it and one asked me if we could to it again tomorrow!!! A lovely evening enjoyed by us all.
