An open door to returning CatholicsWelcome!"Christ is seeking you out and inviting you back to the community of faith." Pope John Paul II
No matter how long you have been away and no matter the reason, we invite you to consider renewing your relationship with the Catholic Church. You are welcome to contact John McDiarmid 528-6597 about Catholics Returning Home at Our Lady of Grace parish. Attendance is always voluntary and completely confidential. There is no requirement to continue after any session. INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CATHOLIC?The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a practical and supportive way of developing knowledge of Catholic life, experience, faith and traditions. The RCIA is a communal process involving learning, sharing and prayer through exploring the principles of Catholic teaching. It is a gentle way to welcome people fully into the Catholic Church. The entire process takes several months (ideally a minimum of one complete liturgical year), but participants are invited to proceed at a pace which suits them individually. It leaves participants free to respond and choose as they wish. You are welcome to contact Stella Wadsworth 973-7435 or Father David Dowling 972-4282 (davidd@ihug.co.nz) about the RCIA at Our Lady of Grace parish. Participation in the RCIA is always voluntary and completely confidential. There is no requirement to continue after any session.Pastoral PlanDownload PASTORAL PLANFrom the Bishops of NZDownload LECTIO DIVINA - August 2011 (Note: If you need to download Acrobat Reader to view .pdf files it can be downloaded free directly from the Adobe website.
